Ons het tans ‘n sestienkanaalstelsel en moet opgradeer na ‘n twee-en-dertigkanaalstelsel sodat ons bykomende kringtelevisiekameras kan byvoeg om die buitekant van ons fasiliteit te monitor om die veiligheid van ons inwoners te verbeter. Weens die verandering in tegnologie sal ons van ons bestaande kameras ook moet vervang. Gebaseer op kwotasies wat ontvang is, kan die koste om dit te doen in die omgewing van R 143,265.85 of meer wees.

In our residence we have 3 passages of which one have been refurbish with vinyl flooring the other two still have carpets. We have 35 rooms of which 5 are double rooms. These rooms have the old block tiles (school) We have a dining hall with cork flooring. We are in process to obtain quotations to redo the remainder of our floors with deZign SERIES 200+ Caffe Latte (DD107) Vinyl at a cost of R 311,343.00. This will be much more hygienic to maintain and clean.

As gevolg van die voortdurende beurtkrag was ons gelukkig genoeg om ‘n kragopwekker te hê wat ons kan gebruik om nooddienste soos noodproppe, ligte, verpleegsters oproep, telefoon, toegangsbeheer, interkom, ens. te bedryf. Ons onbeplande petrolkoste met die huidige beurtkrag is + /- R 10,000.00 per maand; dus die rede dat ons ‘n lening van R 123,100.60 aangegaan het om ‘n krag omskakelaar te installeer. Ons sal enige bydrae waardeer om die terugbetaling van hierdie lening te bespoedig, tans nog +/- R 52,681.02 uitstaande.
Due to the continuous loadshedding we were fortunate enough to have a generator that we can utilize to run emergency services such as emergency plugs, lights, nurses call, telephone, access control, intercom, etc. Our unplanned petrol costs with the current loadshedding are +/- R 10,000.00 per month; thus, the reason that we took out a loan of R 123,100.60 to install an inverter. We will appreciate any contribution to speed up the repayment of this loan, currently still +/- R 52,681.02 outstanding.

Kwotasies verkry om hierdie gedeeltes met SMART FENCE 50 en gemotoriseerde hekke toe te maak beloop R 425 755,22.
At the back of our facility, we need to enclose the property to ensure an increase in safety for our residents. There are two sections, A – Open plot possible costs R 250,923.94 and B – Garages/Parking and back entrance possible costs R 174,831.28. Quotations obtained to enclose these sections with SMART FENCE 50 and motorized gates were R 425,755.22.
Omdat ons nie ‘n mediese fasiliteit in Riviersonderend het nie (slegs die plaaslike Kliniek), wil Overberg Tehuis graag ‘n volledig toegeruste noodkamer inrig om ons eie inwoners sowel as inwoners van Riviersonderend wat tydelike mediese sorg benodig te ondersteun tot tyd en wyl hulle na die naaste hospitaal vervoer kan word. Die befondsing sal ons ook in staat stel om opgeleide mediese personeel (Verpleegsters) in diens te neem wat 24/7 kan help.
Because we do not have a medical facility in Riviersonderend (only the local Clinic), Overberg Tehuis would like to put up a fully equipped emergency room to support our own residents as well as residents of Riviersonderend that are in need of temporary medical care until such time they can be transported to the nearest hospital. With this funding to enable us to employ trained medical staff (Nurses) that can assist on a 24/7 basis.
